Colombia’s Minister of Mines and Energy announced the country’s first auction for energy will be taking place in Q1 of 2019. This provides a unique chance for utility scale solar in the country to diversify its electricity mix.

Besides the already existing demand for distributed generation in the C&I market and the first bilateral negotiated PPAs being under development.

Key Characteristics

Colombia's energy auction taking place in Q1 2019: on your marks!

With UPME and MinMinas, we delved into Colombia's emerging PV market.

Join the exclusive workshop to meet and interact with the decision makers and drivers of its energy future. Followed by the 2-day conference where you will meet the existing PV industry in the country.

Colombia Country Report

The purpose of this report is to provide key facts and figures on the economic and political landscape of Colombia, along with a summary of the major developments in its rapidly-growing solar market.
